do i have to pay home owner association dues in this community?
Yes, notice and vouchers are sent in December. Annual payment is due before February 14th (2024 due to late mailings) to avoid late fees. Current dues are $185
Additionally, if you have not received the payment notice, please email [email protected] Unpaid dues will be recorded at the Probate Office and at the time of recording the amount owed will jump from $185.00 to $395.05 and will accrue interest until its paid off. It will also mean that should the homeowner try to sell or refinance their property, the lien will have to be paid off prior to the refinance or the closing of a sale. It could also affect any loans unpaid homeowners apply for. Homeowners not current up to date on their dues will have their privileges suspended.

What is the policy on door to door soliciting?
We have meet all requirements of the city of Madison to ban all solicitors from our sub-division (posting approved signs at all entrances). It doesn't matter if they have a permit or not. In fact if they have a permit, they would have been instructed on Madison's policy and would not be here. If you encounter a solicitor, inform them of the sub-division / city policy. If they fail to leave call police non-emergency number at 256-722-1970 (best practice to store in your phone for quick response). For more information visit Madison, AL - Official Website.
