Committee
Landscaping and Architectural Review Committee (ARC) -
The landscaping committee is responsible for reviewing landscaping contracts for budgeting information, serving as a point of contact with the landscape contractors, reporting any problems or unacceptable work to the contractors, assist in selecting plants and materials for landscaping, and developing proposals for special landscape projects. This committee requires a half hour per week in spring and summer and four hours' work on contracts (generating new contracts and renewing previous contracts). In 2010, Park Meadow received a Beautification Award from the City of Madison. The ARC is responsible for making sure the covenants are followed with reference to sheds, patios, additions to homes, etc. They make their decisions based off of drawings from the homeowner.
We have a new form to request upgrades to properties for different things. It is located on the Covenants Page. Please take a look at it and submit as required.
Community Watch -
The community watch needs people who are willing to drive around the neighborhood on any set schedule. This activity is especially critical when neighbors are at work, on vacation, or after hours for the common areas (the park after dark). This group is well respected by Madison City Officials; they depend on us to help them uphold city and community ordinances and report suspect behavior.
Social Committee -
There are three recurring social events are held each year: Easter Egg Hunt, Spring and Fall Garage Sale. We hope to add the Block Party to the recurring events! The Easter Egg Hunt takes place in the picnic area of the park. For the garage sales, residents hold their own sales at their own houses all on the same day for increased neighborhood traffic. The committee may hold any other activities desired within budget restraints. We are always looking for more social events!!
Block Captains -
Block Captain’s are made up of Park Meadow resident volunteers to assist the residents of Park Meadow and the Board of Directors (BOD) in the following ways:
1. Assist with the distribution of minutes, flyers, etc. This will save $150 - $200 per mailing, which we can use for something
else. Secretary will make the copies and distribute to the Block Captain’s for distribution.
2. Keeping the BOD informed when a home goes up for sale, sold, when a new family moves in, a death or birth of a family member. With the death or birth of a family member the BOD will send a card on behalf of the Association
3. We would also ask that when you walk our neighborhood that you look for maintenance issues and just the overall well being of our neighborhood.
4. Act as the POC for the block. In other words, you can go to your Block Captain for your block with issues (strange cars, unusual activities, etc) and they will let the BOD know.

If you are interested in serving on one of these committees, we would love to have you!
The Board of Directors in our community are responsible for maintaining the common areas and helping homeowners comply with the covenants of our Homeowners’ Association. Please be sure to keep your yard maintained and free of debris to include the leaves in the street from the trees in your yard. Your association dues are collected in January by the HOA's attorney. You will receive an invoice for these dues prior to the due date. Should you have any questions regarding your account, please don't hesitate to contact the board.
